What are some of the dreams and visions that you've always had for yourself?
I'm talking about the type of dreams that you had since you were little. For me, I had several occupations lined up for myself as a child:
-a teacher, who would read to all of her teddies on the staircase and hold an enitre class session;
-an artist... glitter, glitter & more glitter;
-a dancer, noisly click-clacking around the house with tap shoes;
-a writer, journaling unsaid thoughts in ABAB format
What happens to those childlike dreams and aspirations? Where do they disappear to? What seemed like such a tangible idea as a 7-year old is somehow disconnected to the reality that we have chosen to take 10, 20, 30+ years later. (If you're an exception to this and you've stuck to those tender dreams without having to go around the mountain a few times to figure it out... I salute you. Please teach me your ways.)
However, the reality for many is that somewhere, somehow along the line... hope is severed through the crippling effects of fear, thus resulting in faith being lost.
Faithfully Creative (TM) is a testimate of stepping out on faith and diving into the unknown. It is my sincerest hope that this blog will encourage you to reflect on your journey and ignite that fire of hope for you once again.
How have YOU recently stepped out on faith? Whether it be in a small or large way? Feel free to comment below :)
